Middle Cerebral Artery Aneurysm. An arterial aneurysm (local saccular dilation of an artery, filled with blood) is without the normal muscular and elastic arterial wall, and consists of only thin fibrousscar tissue; therefore aneurysms are particularly weak, and can rupture into the subarachnoid space, or the brain itself. |
